How Pay As You Drive Works
Minimum Premium + Prepaid Kilometres = Comprehensive Cover
Pay As You Drive is different than traditional flat-fee insurance. Here is how PAYD works...
With Pay As You Drive, you get the benefits of comprehensive car insurance cover, but only pay for the kilometres you plan to drive. You pay a minimum premium and buy kilometres from us.
If you don't drive the kilometres you paid for, they can be transferred to the following year if we offer you renewal. Unused kilometres never expire.
If you use all your kilometres and you don't purchase additional kilometres, your cover reverts to Third Party, Fire and Theft for the remainder of the cover period.
If you need to buy additional kilometres, it's easy to "top up".
- Call 13 PAYD
- Have your current odometer reading and valid credit card ready
- Pay the additional premium
