At Real Insurance we are very proud of the fact that we launched the world's first trust based Pay As You Drive car insurance. We are proud of the fact that we have been offering Pay As You Drive now to Australian motorists for almost two years. The take-up of the product has been nothing short of astounding, and it is working very well for our customers. Our average customer saved 25% off their normal car insurance premium. They are getting a fair deal. At last.

We are particularly proud of Pay As You Drive when we see a video like the one below, that shows how other countries (Canada in this case) are struggling to get PAYD going.

Hi Sue, thanks so much for your feedback. Sorry to hear that we weren't able to provide a competitive quote for you, but I have sent your feedback on to our underwriting and pricing team. Thanks again, Bec

Interestingly my insurance is still cheaper than Real PAYD. I drive 10000km a year in a 1999 Suzuki Grand Vitara and currently pay $580.66 through Allianz which includes windscreen cover, choice of repairer, 14 days car hire in the event vehicle is stolen.
What I would like to see someone do is make it cheaper for those of us who live in regional areas. Less cars on the road must mean less accidents and premiums should be cheaper on that basis.
